A semi-displacement comfort cruiser by Mulder Design, she was built in 1995 for a client who wanted top Moonen quality and more speed.
Her slim, hardchine patrol-boat type hull has been lengthened during a upgrade in 2000.
Moonen built Marcus II all in aluminum, to strict weight-control standards, to assure a top speed of approx. 22 knots. But she has the seakindliness, economy, and handling typical of all Moonen yachts. She has a comfortable afterdeck, large lazaret with access to swim-platform, crew cabin with two beds, spacious fly bridge with u-shaped sofa, bar with cooker and dining area. A superb technical program has produced an utterly quiet, vibration-free yacht, though driven by twin 820-hp MAN diesels.
Markus II general arrangement and a combination of maple-cherry joinery were chosen by the original owner.
